Prison Gallery

Fremantle Prison’s Gallery was a joint initiative between the Department of Justice and the Department of Housing and Works, which managed the site when the gallery opened in July 2004.

The exhibition program features prisoner art, works from the Prison Collection, and touring exhibitions relevant to the site.

It is located in the former West Workshops of the Prison.

The Prison Gallery is open to the public from 10.00am to 5.00pm daily.  Admission to the gallery is free.
No flash photography is permitted in the Prison Gallery.
