No visit to Fremantle Prison is complete without a short guided tour through the Prison grounds. Half hour tours are a great way to start your evening function. Join our experienced Tour Guides as they provide a captivating insight into the history of the Prison, bringing rich folklore and stories to life. Half hour tours cost an additional $8.00 per person and can be tailored to suit your group.
Please note, these tours must be conducted at the start of your function and may not be available depending on the size of your group. Due to our Torchlight Tours being held on Wednesday and Friday evenings, we are generally unable to offer Highlight Tours on those evenings.
Fremantle Prison’s Gift Shop has a range of souvenirs available for purchase for your function, including pewter keys, convict magnets and themed convict shirts.
For more information view the Gift Shop page or contact the Retail Services Coordinator.
All functions at Fremantle Prison must be professionally catered for. There are a number of reputable caterers who are familiar with the Prison, its layout and exactly what is required to make your function a night to remember.
All tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery need to be hired and your caterer can assist with this. It is recommended that your caterer undertakes a site inspection prior to the function if they are not familiar with the site.
Alcohol is permitted on site on a BYO basis, which you or your caterer can supply. The function organiser and the caterer should ensure patrons are served in accordance with all relevant laws.
If you are planning on selling alcohol to guests you must obtain a liquor licence from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor.
The onsite Convict Cafe may be able to cater for your function. Please see their catering menu for more information.
