The objective is to conserve and maintain the buildings in the Gatehouse complex to reinforce the significance of the precinct as the centre of the Imperial Convict Establishment in Western Australia. It is proposed to remove the cement render from the buildings’ limestone walls.
This project has been deferred and it is not planned to commence before 2012/13.
